CHIMAIRA To Support DARK TRANQUILLITY In Germany

September 28, 2005

According to a posting at Chimaira World, CHIMAIRA will be supporting DARK TRANQUILITY and HATESPHERE on a few German dates in December. The details are as follows:

Dec. 11 - Bochum, GER @ Zeche
Dec. 12 - Hamburg, GER @ Knust
Dec. 13 - Köln, GER @ Lice Music Hall
Dec. 14 - Stuttgart, GER @ Röhre
Dec. 21 - München, GER @ Backstage

CHIMAIRA will play at Hof Ter Lo in Antwerp, Belgium on Thursday, December 8.

The follow-up to 2003's "The Impossibility of Reason", CHIMAIRA's latest, self-titled album was recorded at Spider Studios in Ohio with producer Ben Schigel, who has described the new material as having "more of an epic kind of vibe. The songs are a lot longer, but we found a way to make them long without being boring." Mixing duties were handled by Colin Richardson (MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, NAPALM DEATH).
