Chinese Tribute To DIMEBAG DARRELL To Be Released On Death Anniversary

Chinese underground metal label Mort Productions has announced plans to release a tribute album to PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. The CD, which is tentatively due on December 8, 2005 — the one-year anniversary of Dimebag's death — will contain 12 to 14 PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN covers performed by Chinese and international acts. 1,000 copies will be pressed, featuring a full-color, printed booklet and professional design, and will be distributed primarily in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Chinese bands confirmed to appear on the album include HADES, JUN JIE SUO, NETHERFLUTE, REGICIDE and VOMIT. More details will be made available soon.
