CHRIS CAFFERY: Duet With Ex-SAVATAGE Singer ZAK STEVENS Available For Streaming

August 14, 2008

Guitarist Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA) has posted a new solo track called "Solitaire" on his MySpace page. According to Caffery, "The song was sung by Zak Stevens (SAVATAGE, CIRCLE II CIRCLE) and myself. We bounce back in forth on vocals in the verses and Zakky dominates the choruses. John Macaluso [YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ARK, TNT] is on the drums."

"Solitaire" will be featured on Caffery's new solo album, "House Of Insanity", which is tentatively due in October.

Caffery recently revealed that this next solo album will include "a really cool metal cover of 'Get Up, Stand Up' by BOB MARLEY." He added, "It is actually a cool metal anthem!" Other working songtitles set to appear on the CD include "House Of Insanity", "Shame", "Fight The Fleas", "Sorry", "Schizophrenia", "Seasons Change", "Back's To The Wall", "Winter in Hamburg" and "No Matter What".

Chris Caffery's last solo album, "Pins and Needles", was released in Europe in March 2007 via Metal Heaven Records. The CD arrived in North America in June 2007 via Locomotive.
