CHRIS CORNELL: 'Ground Zero' Video Posted Online

October 22, 2008

"Ground Zero", the new video from former SOUNDGARDEN and AUDIOSLAVE vocalist Chris Cornell, can be viewed below. The track debuted earlier in the month on the premiere episode of the new series "Life On Mars", starring Harvey Keitel and Jason O'Mara.

"Ground Zero" comes off Chris Cornell's forthcoming solo album, titled "Scream", which has caused controversy for ditching his hard rock roots in favor of a new pop/urban collaboration with Timbaland.

Cornell has appeared in commercials for Verizon Wireless promoting the CD's arrival.

Cornell and Timbaland are on the road performing the entire album together, with the trek set to finish with a November 2 show in Cornell's hometown of Seattle.

The singer is also scheduled to make several meet-and-greet appearances at Verizon Wireless stores along the tour route.

Cornell's previous solo efforts are 1999's "Euphoria Morning" and last year's "Carry On". He quit AUDIOSLAVE early last year after making three studio albums. His previous group, SOUNDGARDEN, disbanded in 1997.
