CHRIS CORNELL Says AUDIOSLAVE Knows How To Get Past 'Petty Ego Issues'
May 18, 2005Launch Radio Networks reports: The success of their previous bands — SOUNDGARDEN and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE — could have made it tough for the members of AUDIOSLAVE to deal with each other. But singer Chris Cornell told Launch that those previous experiences have actually helped the quartet deal better with any differences that do surface. "We all had problems and difficulties in previous bands that we would've had if we were in AUDIOSLAVE 10 years ago with each other," he explained. "And now we've all sort of come to the same conclusion that we want to do this and enjoy doing it, otherwise we won't do it. And we don't get involved in petty ego issues. So if we have a problem, we work it out immediately."
AUDIOSLAVE's second album, "Out Of Exile", comes out on May 24. It's the follow-up to the group's double platinum self-titled debut in 2002.
