CHRIS CORNELL: 'The String Quartet Tribute' Due This Month

April 3, 2007

Vitamin Records has set an April 24 release date for "The String Quartet Tribute to Chris Cornell". A description of the CD reads as follows:

"For over 20 years Chris Cornell has reigned supreme as one of the most powerful frontmen in rock history. Whether he was wailing like a banshee for SOUNDGARDEN or crooning his way through the radio hits he would write with AUDIOSLAVE, Cornell has one of the most identifiable voices in recent memory. As a way of saying thanks for all the incredible music he’s been a part of, 'The String Quartet Tribute to Chris Cornell' covers some of the most powerful hits from Cornell's career. This album, like all of Cornell's classics, is going to outshine everything else in your record collection."
