CHRIS CORNELL To Attend MAKE-A-WISH Fundraiser In California

April 30, 2007

Former AUDIOSLAVE/SOUNDGARDEN singer Chris Cornell is among the celebrity guests that are expected to attend Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles' 14th annual "Uncork A Wish" Wine Tasting and Auction fundraiser on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Established in 1983, the Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has fulfilled the wishes of over 5,800 children throughout Los Angeles County battling life-threatening medical conditions.

Cornell left AUDIOSLAVE earlier this year due to what he called at the time "irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences." He'll release a solo album titled "Carry On" on June 5.
