CHRIS CORNELL To Film 'Arms Around Your Love' Video In New York City

April 14, 2007

Former AUDIOSLAVE/SOUNDGARDEN frontman Chris Cornell will film a video for the song "Arms Around Your Love" over a two-day period in New York City. Helming the shoot will be Caswell Coggins, who recently worked with THE CRANBERRIES singer Dolores O'Riordan on her "Ordinary Day" clip.

The lead-off U.K. single from Cornell's new solo album, "Carry On", "Arms Around Your Love" is scheduled for release on May 21, with the album following on May 28 (the U.S. release is scheduled for June 5 via Suretone/Interscope).

Chris Cornell's current touring band is:

Chris Cornell - Vocals
Yogi Lonich (WALLFLOWERS, BUCKCHERRY) - Guitar
Peter Thorn (COURTNEY LOVE, JEWEL, ALICIA KEYS) - Guitar
Jason Sutter - Drums
Corey McCormick (RAFAEL MOREIRA, ROBERTA ROBINSON) - Bass

Cornell's new U.S. single, "No Such Thing", has been made available for streaming via his MySpace page.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning Producer of the Year Steve Lillywhite, "Carry On" is the 13th career album for Cornell.

Cornell began working on the disc last fall after the release of AUDIOSLAVE's third album, "Revelations". News of the solo project fueled rumors of a split with AUDIOSLAVE, with Cornell officially leaving the band in February due to "irresolvable personality conflicts as well as musical differences." The 14-track effort will feature "You Know My Name", Cornell's theme for the latest James Bond film, "Casino Royale", as well as a cover of MICHAEL JACKSON's "Billie Jean".
