CHRIS IMPELLITTERI: NAMM Signing Session Announced

IMPELLITTERI mainman Chris Impellitteri will be in attendance at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which is being held January 15-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. He will be signing pictures on Saturday, January 17 at 2 p.m. at the ENGL booth in Hall D (booth #3297).

IMPELLITTERI will release its long-awaited new album, "Wicked Maiden", in Japan on January 21, 2009 via Victor Entertainment. The CD, which had the working title of "Good and Evil", marks the return to IMPELLITTERI of the band's former singer Rob Rock.

"Wicked Maiden" is "by far the most amazing recording I have been involved with," according to Chris Impellitteri. "It is filled with amazing riffs, fast shredding solos, screaming vocals, and, of course, a brutal rhythm section."

He added, "The goal of this record was to make a historic album that will rival 'Van Halen 1', OZZY's 'Blizzard of Oz', PANTERA's 'Cowboys from Hell', YNGWIE's 'Rising Force', METALLICA's 'Master of Puppets', and even new artists like CHILDREN OF BODOM and AVENGED SEVENFOLD."
