CIRCLE II CIRCLE Frontman To Guest On 'Dave Softee's Metal Meltdown'

March 6, 2010

CIRCLE II CIRCLE/ex-SAVATAGE singer Zak Stevens will be interviewed on the Thursday, March 11 edition of "Dave Softee's Metal Meltdown" show. The program will air between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST and can be heard via the Internet at www.metalmessiahradio.com. There is also a chat room there for the fans to interact.

CIRCLE II CIRCLE has just entered the studio to begin recording its fifth album, "Consequence Of Power", for a late 2010 release. The CD will be the group's second concept effort, following 2006's Burden Of Truth".

CIRCLE II CIRCLE last year parted ways with drummer Tom Drennan and replaced him with Johnny Osborn (X-THIRTIEN, DR. BUTCHER). The band also decided to carry on as a four-piece following the departure of guitarist Bill Hudson (WRITTEN IN BLOOD, ex-CELLADOR).

The band's fourth LP, "Delusions of Grandeur", was released in June 2008 via Locomotive Records.

Stevens joined SAVATAGE in the early '90s for "Edge of Thorns" and contributed mightily to the Florida band's "Dead Winter Dead", "Handful of Rain" and "The Wake of Megellan" albums. Shortly before the "Poets & Madmen" LP in 2001, Stevens left amicably to form CIRCLE II CIRCLE and spend more time with his family. CIIC's 2003 release, "Watching In Silence", featured SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva co-writing most of the material.
