CIRCLE II CIRCLE's MITCH STEWART Pays Tribute To Former Guitarist MATT LAPORTE

April 23, 2011

CIRCLE II CIRCLE bassist/keyboardist Mitch Stewart has released the following statement regarding the passing of the band's former guitarist, Matt LaPorte (also of JON OLIVA'S PAIN):

"I'm finding myself waking up to the same harsh reality I was hoping was only a bad nightmare. My friend Matt is gone.

"I met Matty the first time durring the making of CIRCLE II CIRCLE's 'Middle Of Nowhere' recordings. I greeted him with a hug and he never let me forget that day! He ALWAYS remembered that hug. I'll never forget it....

"Matt, my brother... You will live forever in my heart! In the hearts of ALL who loved you.

"Some people would wish for a chance to say goodbye. I can't handle this goodbye. So I'll just say, 'See ya next time, bro!' I love you, man.

"R.I.P.

"Your brother forever ."
