CIRCUS DIABLO To Release Recordings Via Web Site

January 16, 2006

Former THE CULT touring bassist and current CAMP FREDDY guitarist Billy Morrison has posted the following update on CIRCUS DIABLO, his new project also featuring former THE ALMIGHTY frontman Ricky Warwick and THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy, with help from VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum:

"I can tell you that right now the plan for CIRCUS DIABLO is just to finish recording a few tracks and put them out ourselves. We'll do our best to make sure that they are available as easily as possible — for sure on the website, and hopefully a few other places as well. And that is the extent of it right now. Online merchandise, for sure. Live shows at some point but not anytime soon as all three of us have a lot of previous commitments and plans for 2006. But we love the songs, so we will finish what we are doing and get them out in some form. For now that's it."

Warwick had previously stated about CIRCUS DIABLO: "CIRCUS DIABLO started with some songwriting sessions with Billy Duffy, Billy Morrison and myself. For no other reason than to write some rock songs and have some fun. We ended up writing quite a few tracks and have begun to record them over at Drac Studios, owned by Matt Sorum. Matt has been playing drums on the recordings (as well as co-producing the tracks with us). Myself and Billy Duffy have been recording the guitars, leaving Billy Morrison to handle the lead vocal and bass guitar duties."
