CLOUDSCAPE Frontman Guests On JANNE STARK's Solo Album

According to a posting on CLOUDSCAPE's web site, the band's frontman Mike Andersson recently recorded lead vocals for a song on Swedish guitarist Janne Stark's (LOCOMOTIVE BREATH, OVERDRIVE) forthcoming solo album. Entitled "Mountain Of Power", the CD contains cover versions of a lot of "old hard rock songs from the Seventies," including MONTROSE's "Black Train", which features Mike. A November 24 release is expected.

As previously reported, CLOUDSCAPE will shoot a new video for the song "Demon Tears" this fall. The clip will be filmed, edited and produced by Rainer Holmgren, who also worked with the group on their "Under Fire" video. The "Demon Tears" clip will be used for promotional purposes and will also be included on the upcoming "ProgPower UK" DVD that will be made available at the festival on March 31, 2007.

"Demon Tears" comes off CLOUDSCAPE's sophomore album, "Crimson Skies", whcih was released in the U.S. in July via Nightmare Records. The CD was recorded at RoastingHouse studio in Malmö with producers Anders "Theo" Theander and Pontus Lindmark. Artwork for the album was created by Mattias Norén.
