CLOUDSCAPE: 'Global Drama' Artwork Unveiled

April 29, 2008

Swedish melodic metallers CLOUDSCAPE have issued the following update:

"It's been a long wait for the announcement of release dates and info regarding the third CLOUDSCAPE album entitled 'Global Drama'. The original plan was to release the album during spring 2008, but, as you already know those plans took a different direction so, right here right now we can reveal that 'Global Drama' will be released during August/September 2008 but, you have to wait a very few more days to get the exact release dates and info and sneak peek(s). As soon as CLOUDSCAPE's management gives the green light, all info will be announced and this will only take a few more days. But, until then you can watch the fantastic album cover made by Mattias Norn."

12 songs were recorded for "Global Drama", which will be "the most varied and interesting album by CLOUDSCAPE so far," according to the band. "It contains a few really hard and raw metal songs and there will also be a few more atmospheric and dynamic songs progressively spiced."

The CD was produced by Pontus Lindmark and recorded at RoastingHouse Studios in Malm, Sweden.

CLOUDSCAPE's sophomore album, "Crimson Skies", was released in the U.S. in July 2006 via Nightmare Records. Artwork for the album was created by Mattias Norn.

CLOUDSCAPE has been confirmed for this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place August 15-17, 2008 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.
