CLOUDSCAPE: New Song Posted Online
May 10, 2006A brand new CLOUDSCAPE track, entitled "Shapeshifter", has been posted online at this location. The song comes off the Swedish metallers' sophomore album, "Crimson Skies", due in Europe on June 3 via Metal Heaven. Japanese and U.S. release dates for the CD have yet to be announced. "Crimson Skies" was recorded at RoastingHouse studio in Malmö with producers Anders "Theo" Theander and Pontus Lindmark. Artwork for the album is being handled by Mattias Norén.
As previously reported, CLOUDSCAPE have been confirmed for the Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 8-10 in Sölvesborg, Sweden. The group's performance will be filmed by six cameras and recorded on a 48-channel mixing board.
CLOUDSCAPE frontman Mike Andersson recently finished recording vocals for the Swiss project-band SILENT MEMORIAL's second album. The CD will be mixed and mastered in the RoastingHouse studio sometime in late spring or early summer 2006. Release dates are yet to be confirmed since SILENT MEMORIAL are currently searching for a suitable record label to release the album.
SILENT MEMORIAL released their debut album in 1998 in Asia with Thomas Vikstrom (STORMWIND, BRAZEN ABBOT, ex-CANDLEMASS) on vocals.
