CLOUDSCAPE: U.S. Release Of Debut Album Delayed
May 11, 2005Progman Records has pushed back the U.S. release date of CLOUDSCAPE's self-titled debut album by a few weeks "due to technical matters," according to a post on the Swedish band's official web site. The CD is now expected to surface in late May/early June.
As previously reported, CLOUDSCAPE recently shot a video for the song "Under Fire". The clip, which was filmed and directed by Rainer Holmgren (who has previously worked with PAIN OF SALVATION and NASTY IDOLS, among others),was included on the European limited-edition version of their self-titled debut album and will also be featured on the U.S version.
"Cloudscape", which contains 12 songs and one bonus track for Asia, was recorded at RoastingHouse Studios in Malmö, Sweden with producers Anders "Theo" Theander (PAIN OF SALVATION, LAST TRIBE, PATHOS) and Pontus Lindmark. Acclaimed guitarist Torben Enevoldsen (SECTION A) contributes a guest solo to the album's opening cut, "As the Light Leads the Way".
