CLUTCH: Illness Forces Concert Cancellations
May 16, 2007CLUTCH has issued the following update:
"Due to sickness in the band, [last night's] performance at Bogart's in Cincinnati has been postponed until July 27th. Ticketholders should contact the point of purchase regarding refunds. Tickets for [the May 15 concert] will be honored for the July 27th date. The May 16 show in Milwaukee is also cancelled, as the extent of the illness has taken more of a toll than anticipated. The make-up date for the Milwaukee show will be announced soon. CLUTCH will perform all remaining shows as planned."
CLUTCH's video for the song "Electric Worry", filmed at the historic Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown, MD, has been posted online at YouTube. The track comes off the group's latest album, "From Beale Street to Oblivion", which came out on March 27 through DRT Entertainment.
One of rock's most hard-working live bands, CLUTCH will be supporting the album (which is their third for the DRT label) with a world tour — including U.S., European, and Australian dates, as well as an appearance at the mammoth Bonnaroo Festival on June 14.
