CODE Announces Final Performance Of 2008

August 28, 2008

British/Norwegian black metal project CODE, featuring vocalist Simen Hestnaes (a.k.a. ICS Vortex; DIMMU BORGIR, ex-ARCTURUS),bassist/backing vocalist Viper (a.k.a. Vicotnik from DHG),guitarist/songwriter Aort, and drummer Adrian Erlandsson (AT THE GATES, CRADLE OF FILTH),has issued the following update:

"We will be playing live at club Willemeen in Arnhem, the Netherlands on the 17th October as part of the Aurora Infernalis Fest. Also playing on the 17th will be Icelandic legends SOLSTAFIR and V:28 from Norway. GEHENNA will be headlining the following day. This will be the last chance to see CODE this year and indeed the final performance based around the 'Nouveau Gloaming' album. We will be returning to the stage next year to promote our forthcoming album due to be released in the winter."

CODE's second album will released through Tabu Recordings. Aort previously stated about the CD, "Adrian completely devastated the drums for this recording and Vicotnik has manageed to really outdo himself with his most inspired bass work yet. I think we have all raised the bar with this recording and we are itching to get these morbid hymns out to you."

CODE's upcoming CD will be the follow-up to "Nouveau Gloaming", which came out in 2005.
