CODE To Begin Recording In April

March 24, 2008

British/Norwegian black metal project CODE, featuring vocalist Simen Hestnaes (a.k.a. ICS Vortex; DIMMU BORGIR, ex-ARCTURUS),bassist/backing vocalist Viper (a.k.a. Vicotnik from DHG),guitarist/songwriter Aort, and drummer Adrian Erlandsson (AT THE GATES, CRADLE OF FILTH),has issued the following update:

"Firstly, the end is in sight at last for the recording of the second album. Drums are set to be recorded in April. The mix is booked for the end of May at Studio Fredman so we are nearly there. Artwork is being worked on too at the moment so an autumn release is still looking likely.

"We are looking forward to belting out the 'Nouveau Gloaming' songs for the last time at Bitterfeld in May. Unfortunately, Vicotnik wont be able to make it for this show but the low-end frequencies will be more than taken care of by Ilia Rodriguez from the monstrous death.doom band INDESINENCE."

CODE's follow-up to "Nouveau Gloaming" will be released on Tabu Recordings.
