COLDWORKER Pulls Out Of European Tour With NECROPHAGIST, MISERY INDEX

November 30, 2006

Drummer Anders Jakobson (ex-NASUM) of the Örebro, Sweden-based band COLDWORKER has issued the following update:

"Unfortunately COLDWORKER have to cancel the European tour with NECROPHAGIST and MISERY INDEX due to work-releated reasons. This is a very sad thing as we were psyched about the tour, the bands and the route, but unfortunately we got struck by a very hard case of bad timing, forcing us to drop out of the tour after it was announced.

"We like to point out that the cancellation has nothing to do with the band or the other bands, neither the booking agency nor our record label. There is no argument of any kind involved. Hopefully we can schedule a new European tour in the late spring/early summer."

A video clip of COLDWORKER performing the song "Generations Decay" on Nov. 18, 2006 at at Trägårn in Gothenburg, Sweden has been posted online at YouTube.com. "It's pretty rough both in the audio and video department, but it is our first YouTube clip nevertheless!" Jakobson said.

As previously reported, an e-card for COLDWORKER's debut album, "The Contaminated Void", is available at this location.

"The Contaminated Void" was recorded by the band this past June and mixed by Dan Swanö. A three-minute MP3 file containing audio samples of "The Contaminated Void" can be downloaded here. The CD is due in the U.S. on January 23, 2007 via Relapse Records.

COLDWORKER consists of current and former members of such bands as NASUM, RELENTLESS, CARNAL GRIEF, RUIN and PHOBOS.
