1349 Continuing Work On New Material

December 10, 2007

Norwegian black metallers 1349 have issued the following update:

"As many of you might already know, Frost [drums, also in SATYRICON] recently had an accident where he fell and broke his leg. He is currently in hospital. In the meantime, the rest of the band will continue to work on the things that don't require Frost to be present, and wish him a quick recovery."

1349 has been confirmed for next year's installment of the Inferno metal festival, set to take place March 19-22, 2008 at the Rockefeller and John Dee venues in Oslo, Noway.

1349 released its third studio album, "Hellfire", in the U.S. in October 2005 via Candlelight Records. Recorded at Studio Studio in Nyhagen, Norway, "Hellfire" was supported by a North American tour with Swiss avant-garde metal pioneers CELTIC FROST.
