CONTRIVE Schedules Australian Dates

Melbourne, Australia-based metal trio CONTRIVE has scheduld the following dates:

Feb. 23 - The Cornish Arms Hotel - Brunswick, Melbourne
Mar. 13 - Miami Shark Bar - Gold Coast, Queensland
Mar. 14 – [to be announced] - Ipswich, Queensland
Mar. 15 - Inferno Fest - Fortitude Valley, Queensland

CONTRIVE drummer Andrew Haug had the ultimate experience recently getting onboard IRON MAIDEN's personal Boeing 757 dubbed Ed Force One while the band was touring Australia.

CONTRIVE is currently writing new material to follow up their debut album, "The Meaning Unseen", which was mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden by Fredrik Nordström (OPETH, ARCH ENEMY).

ABC-TV in Australia last year screened a segment on the late-night music program JTV featuring CONTRIVE drummer Andrew Haug, focusing on his impressive metal knowledge, as well as his relationship with his twin brother and CONTRIVE guitarist/vocalist Paul Haug. Andrew Haug has been hosting Triple J's weekly national metal program "Full Metal Racket" since 2001. He is longtime metalhead who has hosted stacks of interviews with such greats as METALLICA, TOOL, PANTERA, SLAYER, OZZY OSBOURNE and more.
