COREY TAYLOR's Video Announcement For 'An Evening With' Tour Of U.S., Canada
October 6, 2011STONE SOUR and SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor will embark on a solo tour this November in the U.S. and Canada. Called "An Evening With Corey Taylor", the concerts will feature Taylor doing both spoken-word and acoustic performances, along with question-and-answer sessions with the audience. Taylor begins the trek on November 14 in Anaheim, California, finishing up four weeks later on December 13 in Orlando, Florida.
Taylor will probably read excerpts from his recently released memoir, "Seven Deadly Sins - Settling The Argument Between Born Bad And Damaged Good". The audiobook version came out on September 26.
The book made the New York Times hardcover non-fiction best sellers list after it came out in July, debuting at No. 26.

Taylor recently revealed that STONE SOUR will release a concert DVD and cover songs EP in one package sometime before the end of the year. He also said in a recent interview that the next STONE SOUR album is likely to be recorded in 2012 and could end up being a concept record.
SLIPKNOT played several European festivals this past summer, its first shows since bassist Paul Gray died in May 2010, and will do a U.S. tour next year. But plans for a new album remain uncertain.
