CORNERSTONE Prepare To Enter Studio

March 4, 2003

CORNERSTONE, the project featuring ROYAL HUNT bassist Steen Mogensen and ex-RAINBOW/current YNGWIE MALMSTEEN vocalist Doogie White, are in the process of finishing up the songwriting process for the group's third album, tentatively due in the fall.

"[Steen and I] have never worked so closely before on any of the songs, so it was very interesting and a lot of fun," Doogie said of the songwriting process. "We have 11 very strong songs all with different textures and themes. Now we have to get down to the recording process — well, Steen does, as once again he is producing the record. The demos were impressive enough, so I am hugely excited about how this the 'difficult' 3rd album will come out."

Among the songtitles set to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD are the following:

01. When the Hammer Falls
02. Once Upon Our Yesterdays
03. Some Have Dreams
04. Man Without Reason

The recording process for the follow-up to last year's "Human Stain" will begin later this month, with Allen Sorensen on drums, Kasper Damgard on guitar, and Steen on bass and keyboards. Doogie will lay down his vocals when he has completed his upcoming touring activities with Yngwie Malmsteen.
