'Crüe Fest 2' Video Report From ALTITUDE TV

August 7, 2009

Altitude TV has posted a four-minute video report (see below) on Crüe Fest 2, the sequel to last summer's touring rock festival, which kicked off on July 19 in Camden, New Jersey.

Crüe Fest 2 stars MÖTLEY CRÜE with GODSMACK, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, DROWNING POOL and CHARM CITY DEVILS. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of "Dr. Feelgood", MÖTLEY CRÜE is performing the #1 album in its entirety in the band's self-created sanitarium followed by a completely separate set of the best of the rest of their hits, including the Grammy-nominated title track from their current album "Saints of Los Angeles". The tour also features the Monster Energy Stage, doubling the rock experience and value for fans by offering music from ten great bands between the two stages.

The 32-city trek will have its final performance on September 5 at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Lake, New York.

"This is a crazy tour unlike any we've ever done before," stated MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx. "Crüe Fest 2 has ten bands rocking two stages. MÖTLEY's doing two completely different sets — all of the songs from the 'Dr. Feelgood' album and then a whole different look, sound, lights, dancers and even microphones with the grime and slime of our greatest hits. We'll change up the set list a bit during the second half of the show, just really do something different this summer."

In addition to REV THEORY, CAVO, SHRAM and 16 SECOND STARE, the Monster Energy Stage features a band chosen locally in select markets.
