CRADLE OF FILTH: 'The Daily Habit' Performance To Premiere Tonight

February 14, 2011

Fuel TV will air an exclusive in-studio performance featuring the world-renowned British extreme metal group CRADLE OF FILTH tonight (Monday, February 14) on the channel's hit show "The Daily Habit". The intimate appearance was filmed last week at the Fuel TV studios in Los Angeles when the band passed through on its headlining trek, dubbed the "Creatures From The Black Abyss Tour".

"The Daily Habit" will premiere the performance at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, with several re-airs to follow.

"The Daily Habit" features the biggest risk-taking athletes and the most influential faces in entertainment and brings them together on one stage to discuss everything from "stuff that matters to dudes" to "trends that need to end."

CRADLE OF FILTH's North American "Creatures From The Black Abyss" headlining tour kicked off in Houston on February 1. The 31-city trek features support from NACHTMYSTIUM, TURISAS and DANIEL LIONEYE.

CRADLE OF FILTH's new album, "Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa", sold 5,800 copies in its first week of release to debut at position No. 99 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, "Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder", opened with a little over 11,000 copies back in November 2008 to debut at position No. 48 on The Billboard 200 chart. This was slightly less than the first-week tally registered by 2006's "Thornography", which shifted nearly 13,000 copies the first week out to enter The Billboard chart at No. 66, and "Nymphetamine", which premiered with almost 14,000 copies back in October 2004.
