CRASHDIET To Sign Copies Of New Single At SWEDISH METAL EXPO
August 27, 2007Swedish/Finnish glam rockers CRASHDIET will sign copies their new single, "In The Raw", on Saturday, September 1 at 16:00 at the Swedish Metal Expo at Fryshuset in Stockholm, Sweden. The single will be released to Swedish radio this week (including such stations as Rockklassiker 106.7, Bandit 106.3 and P3).
CRASHDIET recently finished recording itsnext album, entitled "The Unattractive Revolution". It is currently being mixed in the States by Kevin Churko and will be released in Scandinavia on October 3 and in the rest of Europe, Japan and America later in the year. The video for the first single, "In the Raw", was shot by Mikeadelica.

MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars flew into Stockholm, Sweden in June to help CRASHDIET write some songs for their upcoming album. No less than three songs were cut for possible inclusion on the CD, which will be released via Universal Records.
CRASHDIET's debut live appearance with their new singer, H. Olliver Twisted (of the Finnish hard rock act RECKLESS LOVE) took place on January 21 at the Rest in Sleaze festival at Debaser in Stockholm, Sweden.
H. Olliver Twisted joined CRASHDIET as the replacement for David Hellman (a.k.a. Dave Lepard),who committed suicide in January 2006.
Hellman was found dead on January 20, 2006 at his apartment in the Swedish city of Uppsala, north of Stockholm. It was reported in several places that he hanged himself, although this was never officially confirmed.
CRASHDIET is a Stockholm, Sweden-based Eighties hard rock-style band whose debut album, "Rest in Sleaze", entered the Swedish national album chart at position No. 12.
CRASHDIET is reportedly the first "sleaze rock" band in over 10 years to be signed directly to a major company — Universal Music.
