ThrashHits.com conducted an interview with bassist Brett "Buzzard" Makowski of Alaskan metallers 36 CRAZYFISTS at this year's Download festival, which was held June 11-13, 2010 at Donington Park, United Kingdom. Watch the chat below.

36 CRAZYFISTS' new album, "Collisions And Castaways", is scheduled for release in Europe on July 26 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was produced by the band's guitarist, Steve Holt.

Commented the group: "It has been quite a journey creating these new songs and we are excited for everyone to hear them..

"We started writing this album in early November in Anchorage and finished writing right around mid-March.

"Thomas [Noonan] started drum tracking early April and Holt has not only produced this one again but he also handled all the guitars and bass on this effort."

36 CRAZYFISTS recently returned to the Roadrunner fold after one album with Ferret Music. The band is thrilled to come home, saying "Being back with our Roadrunner Records family is very special to everyone in the 36 CRAZYFISTS camp. We look forward to being looked after again by the hardest-working staff in the business, Hallelujah!!!!"

36 CRAZYFISTS and DEVILDRIVER will team up for the "Bound By The Road 2010" U.K. co-headlining tour in November. Two additional support bands are yet to be announced.
