CREED Reunion Tour Inching Closer

March 18, 2009

A "teaser" video for CREED's upcoming reunion tour, which is expected to kick off this summer, can be viewed below. Meanwhile, fans can sign up for the band's new mailing list at CreedOfficial.com.

Sources reported last year that there were "significant dollars" on the table for a CREED trek, although a spokesperson for teh band's record label, Wind-Up, said at the time, "There have been some talks, but it would be premature to comment on them at this time." CREED disbanded in June of 2004, with singer Scott Stapp pursuing a solo career and the other three members of the group forming ALTER BRIDGE with singer Myles Kennedy.

Since leaving CREED, Scott Stapp has not had a smooth ride. He has been arrested for domestic abuse and public drunkenness, gotten into a fight in a hotel with members of311, been to rehab and was scandalized by a sex tape that surfaced featuring him and Kid Rock on a bus with several women.

However, Stapp is now said to be "in prime physical and mental condition" and recently returned from playing overseas for U.S. troops.
