CRIMSON CULT Signs With DOCKYARD 1

Austrian metallers CRIMSON CULT, featuring former STYGMA IV members Günter Maier (guitar) and Alex Hilzensauer (bass),have inked a deal with Dockyard 1 Records. The group's debut album is expected in the spring.

According to the band's official bio, "After the split of STYGMA IV two years ago, Günter and Alex always stayed in close contact and never lost the joy of playing music together. With Peter Bachmayer and Walter Stuefer, they now found the right musicians for bringing their musical ideas to the point. From STYGMA-esque power metal to high-speed parts and doom parts as well, CRIMSON CULT reflects the preferred music of Günter and Alex. For the fact that Peter Bachmayer is one of the best drummers around with no technical limitations, it's easy to write the right metal songs. Walter Stuefer completed the band with his outstanding metal voice and a lot of live experience."
