CRISS ANGEL Video Featuring GODSMACK, MÖTLEY CRÜE, Ex-EXTREME Members Posted Online

August 2, 2006

GODSMACK members Sully Erna and Shannon Larkin, along with former EXTREME guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil, are featured in the new video from illusionist/escapologist/stunt performer Criss Angel, entitled "MF2". The clip for the song — which is said to be a collaborative rocker penned by Angel, Erna (who plays drums on the cut) and Bettencourt (who handles bass and guitar duties) — can be viewed at YouTube.com.

"MF2" is the first single from Angel's new album, "Criss Angel: Mindfreak", which is the official soundtrack to his popular television series "Mindfreak". The 22-track LP was produced mostly by Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN),with contributions from KORN frontman Jonathan Davis on several tracks, and features a DVD loaded with making-of footage and behind-the-scenes action.

"It was really incredible — I pinched myself," Angel said of recording with the trio of musicians, according to MTV.com. "To be in a situation working with artists who I respect and admire, artists I'm a fan of ... it was pretty mind-blowing. I'm really excited for people to hear the record. These songs don't need the show. They have a life outside of the show, and these are songs that stand on their own."
