CROSSBONE SKULLY Recruits DEF LEPPARD's PHIL COLLEN And Legendary Producer ROBERT JOHN 'MUTT' LANGE For 'Thunder Love' Single

CROSSBONE SKULLY has released a brand new single, "Thunder Love", featuring DEF LEPPARD's Phil Collen.

Capturing a thunder-shaking midnight encounter between two sinners, the song is a shot of lightning and lust-fueled chemistry, delivering the first strike from CROSSBONE SKULLY's upcoming sophomore album, "Condemned To Rock N' Roll", to be made available via earMUSIC.

Fronted by Tommy Henriksen (ALICE COOPER, HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES),CROSSBONE SKULLY is a gritty hard rock band, featuring fellow Alice Cooper guitarist Anna "Blackthorn" Cara and a revolving cast of rock 'n' roll misfits. By teaming up with Collen and legendary producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Henriksen has crafted the perfect storm on "Thunder Love". The track also features powerhouse studio drumming from Glen Sobel (ALICE COOPER, HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES),whose thunderous performance helps drive the song's explosive energy.

Collen comments: "It's great to be singing with Mutt again. It's a vocal blend we've shared for many years, and having Tommy's voice in the mix adds another dimension.

Having Collen come in to play and sing on this track was the icing on the cake for Henriksen, who said: "Phil is one of my heroes as a guitarist, singer and songwriter so to bring Phil and Mutt together again for the track 'Thunder Love' was a really special moment for me, their generosity and influence made this dream a reality.

"Making records with Mutt Lange has been the greatest lesson of my life. I have infinite respect and love for Mutt. I can never thank him enough for his belief, generosity, and friendship. I'll carry it with me forever."

Collen also stepped in front of the cameras for CROSSBONE SKULLY's latest video shoot. Joining Tommy and Anna on set were bassist Jennie Vee (Courtney Love, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL) and returning drummer Tuesdai, forming a powerhouse lineup that helped bring the band's cinematic vision to life. Reflecting on the experience, Phil said: "CROSSBONE SKULLY are bringing back the sound and spirit of classic rock. You just don't see many videos like this anymore — it's becoming a lost art, and being part of something that celebrates that has been a lot of fun.'

With the release of "Thunder Love" (featuring Phil Collen),CROSSBONE SKULLY also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter with earMUSIC. CROSSBONE SKULLY's critically acclaimed debut album, "Evil World Machine", made a bold statement, featuring the singles "High On You", "The Boom Went The Boom", "Everyone's On Dope" and "I'm Unbreakable".

Super-producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange came out of retirement to work on "Evil World Machine" and served as executive producer on the effort, which came out in October 2024.

In a 2024 interview with Sentinel Daily, Henriksen said that CROSSBONE SKULLY had been in the works "since about 2018." He explained: "I believe it's one of those things where, it's, like, I'm always doing all different types of music. I've never been, like, 'I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do that.' Because music is — I don't know… music, it's life for me. When I do music, I do it because I love it. I don't ever sit back and go, 'I'm gonna do it for money, or I'm going to try and write a hit song.' And when I started CROSSBONE SKULLY, it actually was born out of soundcheck, pretty much, myself and Glen Sobel, the drummer for ALICE COOPER and HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES. He played all the drums on the record. Me and him would jam AC/DC songs during soundcheck, and I'd sing them. And our lighting guy just happened to say, 'You should do this. You're missing out.' And I looked at him. I was, like, 'What do you mean, man?' He [said], 'You should be doing it.' I used to do it back in the club days, when I was, like, eighteen years old, I was doing all that stuff. So what I did was whenever someone tells me anything, I always say I'm like a recorder. I'm always taking information, and I'm processing a lot of shit all the time. I went home and I thought about it and I started writing a couple songs, and the first song I did was 'The Boom Went The Boom'."
