CROWPATH Comment On CEPHALIC CARNAGE U.K. Tour

May 27, 2005

Swedish metalcore act CROWPATH will have their full-length debut, "Red on Chrome" released on June 6 through the unholy alliance of Earache Records and Willowtip.

CROWPATH will support CEPHALIC CARNAGE on a U.K. tour this June/July. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Jun. 27 - Manchester, UK @ Rockworld
Jun. 28 - Leeds, UK @ Joseph's Well
Jun. 29 - York, UK @ Barfly
Jun. 30 - Glasgow, UK @ Barfly
Jul. 02 - Nottingham, UK @ Old Angel
Jul. 03 - Cardiff, UK @ Barfly
Jul. 04 -London, UK @ The Garage

Dan Bengtsson of CROWPATH warns the U.K. what to expect; “The people in the U.K. will feel the rage and power of the South Swedish dissonant metal machine known as CROWPATH. We’ll play songs from 'Red on Chrome' some oldies and a couple of new tunes that will end up on our second, as-yet-untitled album that we’ll release later this year."

CROWPATH will enter Berno Studios (THE HAUNTED, DEFLESHED, GOD DETHRONED, AMON AMARTH, KAAMOS) in Malmö, Sweden on August 12 to begin recording their sophomore album, tentatively due in early 2006. The follow-up to 2004's "Red on Chrome" will feature such cuts as "Pigeonsmasher" and "The Will to Burn",

CROWPATH's full-length debut, "Red on Chrome" — originally issued last spring via the Pittsburgh, Pa.-based metal label Willowtip Records — was recorded by Fredrik Reinedahl (IN FLAMES, BURST) at Phlat Planet Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden.
