CRYPTOPSY, DECREPIT BIRTH, UNMERCIFUL To Join Forces For European Tour

CRYPTOPSY, DECREPIT BIRTH and UNMERCIFUL will team up for a European tour in May/June 2008. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

CRYPTOPSY recently announced the addition of singer Matt McGachy (3 MILE SCREAM) and keyboardist/samplist Maggie Durand (HOWLING SYN) to the group's ranks. The band is currently recording its sixth album for a 2008 release.

CRYPTOPSY parted ways with singer Lord Worm (a.k.a. Dan Greening) in April. No reason was given for Lord Worm's departure, but according to guitarist Alex Auburn, the vocalist was "kicked out" of the band and didn't leave of his own accord (an account later disputed by Lord Worm)

CRYPTOPSY's last studio album, "Once Was Not", was released in 2005 via Century Media Records.
