CRYPTOPSY Reunites With Singer LORD WORM For AMNESIA ROCKFEST (Video)

June 24, 2013

Canadian extreme metallers CRYPTOPSY reunited with their original vocalist Lord Worm to perform a medley of tracks from their 1994 debut album, "Blasphemy Made Flesh", during an appearance at the eighth edition of the Amnesia Rockfest on June 15 in Montebello, Quebec, Canada.

Says CRYPTOPSY: "A big thanks to the one the only Lord Worm for coming out and making Rockfest amazing!"

Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be seen below.

CRYPTOPSY parted ways with Lord Worm (a.k.a. Dan Greening) in April 2007. No reason was given for Lord Worm's departure, but according to guitarist Alex Auburn, the vocalist was "kicked out" of the band and didn't leave of his own accord (an account later disputed by Lord Worm).

The self-titled album from CRYPTOPSY was released in the U.S. on November 20, 2012 via Cryptopsy/Defen Society in association with Revolution Harmony/Candlelight Records.
