CRYSTAL EYES: New Song Posted Online

January 21, 2005

Sweden's CRYSTAL EYES have completed work on their fourth full-length album, "Confessions of the Maker".

"It took about four weeks longer than planned, but finally the album is finished," the band write on their web site. "It was mastered last Wednesday by Dragan Tanaskovic at Bohus Mastering, who also have mastered the latest stuff from EVERGREY, and damn he's good. If you got the time and tools to produce a really satisfying album it's definitely worth four more weeks of hard work.

"Earlier we've always put whole songs on the website, but during December the traffic on the website increased so much we blew our download barrier. So we're now forced to use only three-minute samples. Anyway, you can now listen to a sample of the title song of the new album 'Confessions of the Maker'. A heavy mid-tempo song seasoned with lots of '80s BLACK SABBATH. Closer to the release we'll probably put up a little faster one."

The follow-up to 2003's "Vengeance Descending", "Confessions of the Maker" will be the group's first release to feature the full-time services of new singer Daniel Heiman (ex-LOST HORIZON).
