CYCLE OF PAIN Track Featured In 'Paper Man' Movie

The track "Pungle" from CYCLE OF PAIN — the band led by BLACK LABEL SOCIETY bassist John "J.D." DeServio — is featured in the movie "Paper Man", an upcoming dramedy starring Jeff Daniels, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Lisa Kudrow and Kieran Culkin in which Daniels plays Richard, a failed middle-aged novelist, and Stone plays Abby, a 17-year-old girl whose role in a family tragedy years earlier has stolen away her youth. According to RopeOfSilicon.com, the two of them have imaginary friends helping guide them into the future. Richard's friend is the costumed superhero Captain Excellent (Reynolds),and Abby's is a morose fellow teenager Christopher (Kieran Culkin).

A trailer for the film, which hits limited theaters on April 23, can be viewed below.

The self-titled debut album from CYCLE OF PAIN was released on April 21, 2009 via Reform Records/Rock Ridge Music. The CD features guest appearances by Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE),Ray Luzier (KORN),Brian Tichy (BILLY IDOL),Sen Dog (CYPRESS HILL),Russ-T Cobb, Hugo Ferreira (TANTRIC),Marcus Ratzenboeck (TANTRIC),Clip Payne (P-FUNK),Burton C. Bell (FEAR FACTORY) and Russell Allen (SYMPHONY X).

Accompanying DeServio in CYCLE OF PAIN is vocalist/rhythm guitarist Gregg Locascio, lead guitarist Joe Taylor (who plays with Doro Pesch) and drummer Rich Monica.
