CYNIC: Entire MAXIMUM ROCK FESTIVAL Performance Available For Viewing

Reunited progressive metallers CYNIC, whose 1993 album "Focus" is regarded as a landmark release in the field of technical/progressive metal, performed at the Maximum Rock Festival on Sunday, August 12 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The "Focus" LP was performed in its entirety to the delight of a small but dedicated crowd. The show lasted for about an hour and also featured the new song "Evolutionary Sleeper". The group's setlist was as follows:

An MP3 of "Evolutionary Sleeper" has been made available for download at this location. The track was recorded live during the band's June 29, 2007 appearance at the Hovefestivalen in Arendal, Norway. Professionally filmed video footage of CYNIC's concert at Hovefestivalen has been posted on YouTube.
