D.A.M.N. Recording New Album

January 25, 2012

Braunschweig, Germany-based, female-fronted death metallers D.A.M.N. (DIARY ABOUT MY NIGHTMARES) have entered the studio to begin recording their sophomore album for a late 2012 release. The band states, "The drum recordings for the follow-up [to] 'Forbidden Anger' are done. We will go back to Denmark/Sweden in February to record the guitars, bass and vocals. Be prepared! Be sure the new record will be even darker than the last one."

Video footage of D.A.M.N. performing a new song, "Going Down Your Way" — which will be included on the forthcoming CD — can be seen below.

D.A.M.N.'s debut album, "Forbidden Anger", was released in Japan in January 2010 via Spiritual Beast Records. The Japanese version of the CD, which was issued in Europe in October 2009 via the Swedish record label Unexploded Records, included two bonus tracks.

"Forbidden Anger" was recorded with Jakob Batten (ILLDISPOSED) and Ziggy (ILLDISPOSED, BEHEMOTH, MERCENARY, AS WE FIGHT).
