DAATH Drummer KEVIN TALLEY Talks About New Album

November 7, 2008

DAATH drummer Kevin Talley — who has previously recorded and/or toured with DYING FETUS, CHIMAIRA, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE RED CHORD, HATE ETERNAL, M.O.D., MISERY INDEX and SUFFOCATION — has contributed an article to Sick Drummer Magazine in which he talks about the upcoming DAATH album, writing drum parts, why things didn't work out with CHIMAIRA, and recording for DYING FETUS. Check it out at this location.

Kevin Talley filled in for DEVILDRIVER drummer John Boecklin at the one-day Ozzfest on August 9 due to the fact that Boecklin was getting married the next day.

DAATH recently posted a video tutorial (see below) for its new song entitled "Sharpen The Blades" which was made available for streaming last month. More information can be found on the band's MySpace blog.

"Sharpen The Blades" comes off DAATH's forthcoming album, "The Concealers", which was recorded with producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, CHIMAIRA) and Mark Lewis of Florida's AudioHammer studios. A winter release via Roadrunner Records is expected.
