DAGOBA: Release Date Set For New Album
November 7, 2005Season of Mist has set a February 20, 2006 European release date for the sophomore album from French metallers DAGOBA. The follow-up to the group's self-titled debut was recorded at Antfarm studios in Denmark with producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, HATESPHERE, MNEMIC). The CD features a guest appearance on two songs by DIMMU BORGIR bassist/ARCTURUS frontman Simen Hestnaes (a.k.a. ICS Vortex, ex-BORKNAGAR, LAMENTED SOULS).
Commented Madsen: "When I first got the pre-production of the new DAGOBA record, I knew this was something special. Even with lo-fi demo sound, it still caught my attention from the first moment. Very dramatic stuff and very well played. We put a lot of good work into this, and now I can't wait for people to hear it. This is one record the world will notice!"
DAGOBA's chart success in their native France led to support slots with such acts as MACHINE HEAD (in Brussels),FEAR FACTORY (in Amsterdam),SAMAEL (North European tour) and KORN (in France).
