DANKO JONES: 'Sleep Is The Enemy' Web Site Launched

February 24, 2006

Bad Taste Records has launched a web site for DANKO JONES' upcoming album "Sleep Is The Enemy" where you can stream samples of the CD or see the new video for "Baby Hates Me". They've also got wallpaper and buddy icons. Check it out at this location.

"Sleep Is The Enemy", is slated for a May 2 release in the United States (the CD was released earlier this week in Europe via Bad Taste Records). The album was produced and engineered by Matt DeMatteo at Record High Productions in Toronto and was mixed by Vic Florencia at Phase One Studios in Toronto. Mastering duties were handled by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in New York (Ted's previous work includes GREEN DAY's "American Idiot" and R.E.M.'s "Around The Sun"). Artwork was created by WalseCustomDesign.com.

DANKO JONES recently parted ways with drummer Damon Richardson. Taking Damon's place is Toronto-based drummer Dan Cornelius. Dan's been a hard-working session drummer in the city and has played with DAMN 13, among other bands/artists.
