DARK AGE Signs With AFM RECORDS
May 8, 2009Germany's modern melodic death metallers DARK AGE have inked a worldwide deal with the Hamburg-based label AFM Records. The band states, "We are really looking foreward to work hand in hand with this renowned label, which offers us the best perspectives to continue our way and gain the interest of more and more fans worldwide in the future."
DARK AGE is scheduled to enter the studio today (Friday, May 8) to begin recording its as-yet-untitled sixth album for a fall release. According to the group, "Once again we will enter the Eikey Studio, owned by our vocalist/guitarist Eike Freese, who will produce, mix and master all segments of the album as we are still thrilled from the sound of 'Minus Exitus', our last output from 2008. You can expect the typical DARK AGE melodies and some surprises in our sound as well, mainly because every band member was involved in the songwriting stronger than ever before."
DARK AGE's first DVD, "Live, So Far...", was released in 2006 via Remedy Records.
