DARK NEW DAY Drummer Comments On Marietta Performance

September 10, 2008

DARK NEW DAY — the band featuring Corey Lowery (bass; ex-STEREOMUD, STUCK MOJO) Brett Hestla (vocals, guitar; ex-CREED, VIRGOS MERLOT),Will Hunt (drums; EVANESCENCE, ex-SKRAPE, TOMMY LEE) and Bradley "BC" Kochmit (guitar; SWITCHED a.k.a. SW1TCHED) — performed this past Saturday (September 6) at Three Bears Café in Marietta, Georgia.

Commented Hunt: "Wow!!! What a night!!

"First off, how bout our new brother BC?!!!!! He fucking KILLED IT!!!!!!!!! We are so honored to have him in the band and I'm sure all those in attendance would agree that he's an amazining asset to DARK NEW DAY. We would like to thank BC for his dedication, attitude, and all around positive energy because he truly helped to lift DARK NEW DAY to a whole new level!!! BC — YOU KICK FUCKING ASS!!!! Thank you for being a part of our band. We LOVE you!!

"Second. What are the chances that our brother Clint Lowery [former DARK NEW DAY and current SEVENDUST guitarist] would be in the same neck of the woods, with a SEVENDUST cancelation (due to a hurricane — and if anyone is up on there DARK NEW DAY history, you know how big a role hurricanes have played in this band's destiny),and able to rock the entire show with us!!! You can't dream up this kind of shit!

"We would like to thank Clint for coming in and rehearsing, helping load gear, kicking serious ass, and continuing to be a part of the band he helped create. We LOVE you Mr. Clint Lowery. Expect to see Clint and or Troy [McLawhorn; ex-DARK NEW DAY guitarist] at some upcoming DARK NEW DAY shows as they are and will be a part of our family forever and when circumstances permit they will absolutely rock the stage with us!!!!

"I love my brothers in this band and am so happy that we were able play this show and that we will be doing some more shows in the VERY near future, so stay tuned, more info soon. Also, stay tuned because there WILL BE NEW DARK NEW DAY AVAILABLE BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2008 — that's a promise."

DARK NEW DAY recently completed work on its long-awaited second album. Audio samples are available on the group's MySpace page.

The band released its debut CD, "Twelve Year Silence", in June of 2005. The disc featured the single "Brother".
