DARK NEW DAY Drummer Says New Album 'Will Come Out'
April 1, 2008DARK NEW DAY drummer Will Hunt (also EVANESCENCE, ex-SKRAPE, TOMMY LEE) has commented on guitarist Clint Lowery's decision to leave the group and rejoin SEVENDUST.
Said Will: "OK, so does this news about Clint really suprise anyone? None of this has been easy, so there is no one to fault here.
"There is so much I want to say, so many things I wish people knew, and at the end of the day, would it change anything? No. Not a thing, including the fact that this [second DARK NEW DAY] record WILL COME OUT, and a lot sooner than you think. This 'news' DOES NOT change that fact because we, DARK NEW DAY, owe it to you, our closest friends, to get this music to you, and so help us God, if it fucking kills us, that's what will happen. As we figure out the whats and the hows of how this is all going to happen in the coming days/weeks, we will keep you informed and in the loop as it unfolds.
"There should be another new song up in the next couple of days for you to check out and we hope everyone likes it as much as you've enjoyed 'Goodbye'.
"As for Clint, best of luck to you and the SEVENDUST camp, and take care of each other out there."
DARK NEW DAY's lineup is rounded out by Troy McLawhorn (guitar; EVANESCENCE, ex-DOUBLE DRIVE),Clint's brother Corey Lowery (bass; ex-STEREOMUD, STUCK MOJO),and Brett Hestla (vocals; ex-CREED, VIRGOS MERLOT).
The band's new song, entitled "Goodbye", is available for streaming on the DARK NEW DAYMySpace page.
DARK NEW DAY released its debut album, "Twelve Year Silence", in June of 2005. The disc featured the single "Brother".
