DARK TRANQUILLITY Checks In From The Road

October 9, 2007

Swedish metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have launched the Eastpak Antidote tour, also featuring SOILWORK, CALIBAN and SONIC SYNDICATE. The group has checked in with the following update:

"Things are so far going fine on the Eastpak Antidote tour. With the UK freshly conquered, we're now sharpening our blades to strike through the heart of the European mainland. Tonight's show in Den Bosch, Holland is entirely sold out, so it'll be a blast for sure. Some fan-filmed video snippets are up on YouTube, so do a quick search if so inclined. TRANQUILLITY with one 'L,' please. British spelling.

"All bands are delivering their metal goods with great intensity and dedication night after night, and it really feels like the whole tour is going down really well. Check out some blog posts from the various bands at www.antidotetour.com to get some perspectives on live on the road."

The band's new album, "Fiction", was released in April via Century Media Records. The CD was mixed by Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) and "encompasses all of the elements on which the band built their career: thought-provoking lyrics, shredding guitar work, captivating melodies and sheer brutality," according to a press release.
