DARK TRANQUILLITY Frontman To Host Growling Workshop

October 3, 2008

Swedish melodic death metallers DARK TRANQUILLITY have issued the following update:

"A piece of oddball news: Mikael [Stanne; DARK TRANQUILLITY singer] — who constantly gets asked tons of questions from aspiring young vocalists about his singing technique — will host a couple of growling workshops here in Gothenburg. Topics to be covered include the fundamentals of growling/screaming technique as well as how to maintain vocal stamina and clarity in a touring situation."

DARK TRANQUILLITY recently recruited Daniel Antonsson (DIMENSION ZERO, ex-SOILWORK) to handle the bass duties for the band's upcoming tour. The group says, "We welcome Daniel to the fold and look forward to hitting the road with him."

Century Media Records reissued DARK TRANQUILLITY's latest album, "Fiction", in May an expanded edition in conjunction with the start of the band's recently completed North American tour. The new version is composed of a CD/DVD and features a slew of new material.
