DARK TRANQUILLITY: Gates Of Metal 2005 Performance To Re-Air On Swedish National Radio
June 20, 2006According to a posting on DARK TRANQUILLITY's official web site, the band's show from last year's Gates of Metal festival in Hultsfred, Sweden will be re-aired on the Swedish national radio P3 (web site) on July 6. More information will be made available soon.
DARK TRANQUILLITY recently announced that their next studio album will be produced by Danish producer Tue Madsen. "The effort will be mixed in his Antfarm studio, while the actual recording will take place in different premises here in Sweden," the band said. "Drums will be set to tape at the old Studio Fredman, while guitars, bass, vocals and electronics will be immortalized at Rogue Music." Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Blind at Heart", "The Lesser Faith", "InsignifiCunt" and "The Plunge"."
DARK TRANQUILLITY recently completed a North American tour with OPETH, THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND and DEVILDRIVER in support of "Character", their highly acclaimed latest album that brought these originators of the famed Gothenburg scene back to the forefront of the genre.
