Washington D.C. metal band FIERCE ALLEGIANCE has new songs available for download on MySpace and PureVolume, featuring the guest guitar-shredding skills of Kris Norris from DARKEST HOUR and bass playing by Ken Olden from DAMNATION A.D. on all 14 album tracks. These songs "mix thrash, melodic death metal, and hard rock into a unique amalgam of sheer heaviness," according to a press release.

The group is currently in talks with several labels for the release of their debut album (produced by Ken Olden) and plan to announce a home shortly.

FIERCE ALLEGIANCE debuted last week on the PureVolume Top Artist chart at #7 between the new BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and AS I LAY DYING, with over 13,000 plays.

FIERCE ALLEGIANCE's lineup includes Ben Allegiance (vocals),Chris Coelho (drums),Matt Pearson (guitar),and John Styers (guitar). The band will embark on a European tour this March supporting DAMNATION A.D. and will also open for ARISE AND RUIN on February 16 in Sterling, VA and M.O.D. in Baltimore, MD on February 21 at The Ottobar.
