DARKEST HOUR To Film 'Sound The Surrender' Video
January 17, 2006DARKEST HOUR will be filming a video for the song "Sound the Surrender" early next month with director Joseph Pattisall (DROWNINGMAN, J PARIS). The track comes off the group's latest CD, "Undoing Ruin", which was released in June 2005 via Victory Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation" was produced by STRAPPING YOUNG LAD mastermind Devin Townsend and features artwork by Chris Taylor of PG. 99.
In other news, DARKEST HOUR are about to enter the studio with engineer Brian McTernan to remix and remaster their second album, "So Sedated, So Secure", which was originally released in 2001. The reissue will include covers of PENTAGRAM's "Be Forewarned" and BATTERY's "Go Back to the Gym" and is scheduled to hit stores in March.
DARKEST HOUR will launch a tour with HIMSA, A LIFE ONCE LOST, THE ACACIA STRAIN and DEAD TO FALL February 17 in Cohoes, New York, with dates running through April 1 in Washington, D.C.
